Does ISIS Follow Islamic Teachings?

He calls himself Brother Rachid. His father is an Imam and Rachid himself has a degree in religious studies. He grew up as a Muslim in Morocco. And in the video below, he responds to the statement, made by President Obama and many others, that ISIS is not Islamic.

  1. So truthful. What a contrast with Obama. Why does Obama deny the truth? Does he think lies make a better world?

  2. Citizen Warrior....

While what you have stated is true in many other countries.... there is one that I know of that isn't afraid to tell the truth about Islam or ISIL.

That country is Canada under the leadership of PM Stephen Harper.

He has said himself that ISIL is an Islamic terrorist organization. That Islamism is Canada's greatest threat and that Islam is not considered a religion but a political agenda.

He has been smeared in some mainstream media for sure, but he's not backing down and cowering. Matter of fact, since two Canadian soldier were murdered in the name of ISIL and Parliament building was involved in one of those attacks..... He's become even tougher on Islam. The Canadian Intelligence agency ( CSIS) has been given even more powers and are now able to work outside of Canada to fight Islam.

  3. That is good news indeed. And we have the great examples of Geert Wilders and Allen West.

Just tonight I was thinking about our little discussion here and thought of Theo Van Gogh. When he was murdered, the knife pinned a note to his chest with the names of others who were to be killed next. Among them were two politicians who had spoken out about Islam: Geert Wilders and Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It takes real guts to tell the truth about Islam. But times will change, and we will all eventually recognize these people for the brave heroes they truly are.

  4. I didn't watch the video, but the answer is obviously of course they don't! Just like Christians don't follow Christian Teachings... though really the Quran is much less violent.. I mean, have you read Deuteronomy?

"And when the LORD your God delivers it into your hands, you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword.

But the women, the little ones, the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you shall plunder for yourself; and you shall eat the enemies’ plunder which the LORD your God gives you.(Deuteronomy 20:13-14) "

  5. Insidmal, there are real differences between Christian teachings and Islamic teachings. The most important one is the linguistic difference between descriptive and prescriptive language. Read more about that here:

  7. The old testament law which sometimes violent in nature have long being abrogated and replaced by commandment to love God and people , there is no preaching of violent in churches
